Uttar Pradesh Karj Rahat Yojana 2021
The government of Uttar Pradesh launched the UP Karj Rahat Yojana on 17th June 2021. This Kisan Loan Redemption Scheme aims to waive off the loans of small marginal farmers up to INR 100,000. The loans which are taken from District Co-operative banks only will be waived off. Around 86 lakh small marginal farmers with landholding less than 5 acres of land will be benefitted from the scheme. The loans which are granted before 31st March 2016 will be waived off under the Kisan Loan Redemption Scheme.
