Bihar Mukhyamantri Kanya Suraksha Yojana 2021-22

The Government of Bihar has launched a scheme named “Mukhya Mantri Kanya Suraksha Yojana” to prevent female foeticide, improve the sex ratio, and encourage birth registration. The Government of Bihar gives Rs.2000/- under the Mukhya Mantri Kanya Suraksha Yojana to every girl child born on or after November 22, 2007, who belongs to the BPL category.

Women Development Corporation, Patna, Bihar, has invested Rs.2000 in fixed deposits with UCO and IDBI Banks on behalf of the Government of Bihar.
